"Dear Skydive Swansea,
Thanks for a great day. Every one of the 25 skydivers in the group
had a fantastic time and all want to go again! As a group we raised
over £3,600 for The Joshua Foundation. Thanks for all of your help!"

"The event was a tremendous occasion and over the two days we had 31 people jumping in aid of MS Cymru. We also had an estimated 50 supporters!!
We are estimating £10,000 has been raised just from the Swansea event.
The facilities were excellent and the staff were terrific. We couldn't have wished for a better experience. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and we will certainly be choosing Skydive Swansea next time!
Thank you"

"Hi Sara and Carl Ann Jones here, thanking you both for making my tandem skydive an event to remember, even if I was known as 'the old woman' by the younger folks that day - I finally got to do my jump on Saturday 20th September. My colleague Roy Palmer couldn't make it that day but thanks to your perseverance he did his jump last Sunday 12/10. Also, thanks for putting our charity - The Bracken Trust- on your web site. I'm the administrator at The Trust and Roy's one of the Directors. The Trust provides much needed support to people living in the Mid Wales area and who suffer from cancer, so thank you. Finally, I've written a little spiel about my skydive experience which, if you feel its suitable, could be added to your Testimonials. I won't be offended if its not added. Anyway, I wish you continued success in the future. (Next time you see Hodge, tell him 'Thank You' for taking care of me). Best wishes" Ann

"Hi you lot, just a very belated line or two to thank you all for such a fantastic day back in May. It seems a long time ago now but my memories of such a mind blowing experience on one of the few perfect days in the Summer of 2008 will stay with me for a very long time. You were all so cool and totally unfazed when I told you about my artificial leg even though you had no prior notice and this was such a big help in steadying my shaky nerves.
The end result was that I fulfilled a lifelong ambition and the Stroke Association received a cheque for just over £2600- not bad since I only started chasing sponsorship 3 weeks before the jump. There is also hope of further, possibly even matched, funding from the Freemasons of West Wales- fingers crossed! Thanks again to everybody including the photo guys who provided such a great record of the day; Sincerely and with Thanks"

"My daughter Kelly and I did our first (probably not the last) tandem skydive on Saturday 23rd August - ABSOLUTELY AWESOME - can't begin to describe the experience except to say that it took us the best part of the rest of the weekend to come down!!! Also raised money for Cancer Research Wales at the same time - who could ask more? Thanks to all at the centre for making it a day to remember." Jane and Kelly Jackson, Swansea

"Hi! I recently completed a 10,000 ft tandem skydive for The Joshua Foundation and raised £400. It was one of the best and most memorable experience's... EVER! I did have to wait several hours before my jump due to weather conditions, but spirits in the centre could not be dampened with very friendly cafe staff and skydive instructors wandering about and chatting to everyone. When my time came it was so exhilarating! The plane ride its self was a rush! When that plane door opened and we jumped the adrenaline rush was crazy! I got to steer the parachute and engaged in some big air acrobatics! WOO HOO! I cant thank the centre and all its staff enough! It was a blast and you ain’t seen the last of me! I'll be back!" "To-
Carl also known as Will (that confused me), H, Simon, Gavin, the lady at the desk (sorry don't know your name, but hope you enjoyed the banana) and the photographer (sorry don't know your name either- but you took some brilliant pictures).
Thank you all for a most fabulous experience! You were all wonderful, very professional and such fun! We can't praise you enough.
The views from the plane were spectacular, we've never seen anything like it. it was worth the journey just for that.
Then the door opens and its real, you're really going to do it! The jump was awesome, absolutely unbelievable, you just can't compare it to anything else. And what a smooth landing, amazing.
If anyone is thinking of skydiving, this is definitely the place to do it, a professional set up, lovely people and the most fantastic views.
I'm sure at least some of us will be back, maybe with Donna when her leg is better.
Thanks again."

"To everyone at Skydive Swansea,
On behalf of my friends (Will and Jodie) I would like to thank you all for making our skydiving experience so amazing.
Myself, Will and Jodie all took part in a Tandem Skydive on the 26th July 2008 in aid of The Joshua Foundation, which is an incredible charity.
Although myself and Jodie were extremely excited, it didn't go unnoticed that Will was petrified and I would like to thank all the staff and skydiving instructors for being so friendly and comforting because without your humour, he probably wouldn't have made it through.
The Tandem Skydive was incredible, like nothing I could ever imagine. The view of the Gower was amazing and having been my first time at the Gower, it was fantastic viewing it from 10,000 ft!
Also I would like to thank my instructor 'H' and my freefall cameraman Nick, although he probably enjoyed filming my skydive more than I enjoyed being filmed.
All in all it was the experience of a lifetime, for all of us and I feel compelled to say another thank you to Sara, Will, 'H', Nick, the pilot, Simon, the landing photos cameraman (who never said his name but managed to take the most horrendous photos and laugh about them with us) and all the café staff.
I will most certainly be booking another Tandem Skydive directly with you and you'll also be pleased to know all the members of my family now intend on booking a Skydive with you :)
Kind Regards, Sam xxx"

You were just fab - thank you x

"Hi Guys,
Thank you so much for yet another great day. On April 20, 2008 I did my second Tandem and raised £1,300 for the Diabetic Department in West Wales General Hospital, Carmarthen.
I would advise anyone who is thinking of doing a Tandem to do it with you guys as you really do make every effort to make sure everyone is happy and have a great skydive.
All your Instructors are very professional, giving step by step instructions and ensuring our safety is their utmost priority.
I can't wait to do another skydive and will be phoning you soon. Thank you for the best experience I've ever had.
See you soon."

"Hi Carl,
Just to let you know how much Rob Jones and Paula Thomas enjoyed the whole experience of the skydive on 05/05/08.
We raised just under £3000 for the Pwll Autistic Unit in Llanelli. The skydive was out of this world and we would like to say a big thank you to Carl my tandem instructor (Paula Thomas) and Gav who had the mad one with him ( ie Rob Jones). Anybody thinking of doing a skydive we really recommend it and the team make you feel at ease through the whole experience.
Once again a big thank you to you all."

"Hi Carl (Will), and everyone at Skydive. I just wanted to send you some feedback from my skydive I did with you on 24th March.
Everyone at Skydive Swansea was so professional and friendly I had the time of my life. It was not as I had imagined it to be but MUCH better. I was able to raise money for The Hospice of the Valleys, a very worthwhile charity, but never expected to enjoy it as much as I did.
Can you please tell Dylan the cameraman that filmed me that my DVD is fab and I relive the experience by watching it all the time. This sport is really addictive, so much so that I plan to do it again in the summer (can't wait) just for my personal enjoyment. I thought being scared of heights (as I am) would have affected me but it really didn't and I was surprised at how calm I felt. I'm still buzzing from the whole experience and would like to thank everyone at Skydive Swansea especially Will for looking after me.
See you soon,"

"Hi, my name is Philippa and I took part in a skydive at Swansea Airfield for Charity on 24/03/08.
Well I can’t explain the felling, it is so exhilarating. I almost backed out just as the door opened but I thought of all the people I am doing this for so I just went for it.
As the plane was reaching 10,000 ft I looked out of the window to see the views and it is amazing. Everything about the skydive was amazing.
All of my family are so proud of me and I’m even proud of myself for doing this.
Due to it being a fantastic experience I have decided to do it again later on this year. I am even thinking of taking up the lessons to become a professional skydiver.
I would recommend it to anyone at any age, you will find it brilliant!
Thank you to everyone at Swansea Airfield for making my day a fantastic experience."

“The best jump of my life!
If you want to jump from a perfectly good plane at 10,000feet, accelerate to 120mph and then watch a stunning view for 5 minutes then do it with Skydive Swansea.
The organisation and help was brilliant! Ten out of ten for everything!
A tremendous 21st birthday present!"

"I was challenged by my school to do something to help raise money for a new playground and to commemorate my 30th birthday. Why I came up with the idea of a skydive I don’t know. Maybe it was an early mid life crisis. Due to bad weather I had to postpone my jump until October 28th.
That morning the weather was abysmal. However by lunchtime it was clear like a summer’s day, and I was able to make my jump. I have never experienced anything like it before. The serene flight that took us around the Gower was spectacular and the moment my stomach landed in my mouth as I was pushed from the tranquility at 10,000 feet. The speed you fall at is amazing as is trying to hold your thumbs up and smiling at the camera as you hurtle towards the earth.
It is an experience that I would recommend to anyone..... even if I only do it once! Thanks to Carl and everyone else at the centre.
The only downside to the experience was my jump suit. Didn’t realise I was going to be dressed like a clown!" Paul Morgan Mynachlog Nedd School, Neath

"My AFF Course...
The best day I had this summer was when I called you and we arranged my AFF course!! But I had no idea that there were more happy days coming!!! The AFF tandem jump was great but then I wasn't feeling too confident to go for my level 1. Thankfully you had arranged for me to spend sometime in the wind tunnel!!! The wind tunnel was great and it helped me a lot. The wind tunnel prepares you for the free fall and its really good practise I would recommend it to everyone!! :D
The AFF course didn't take long and that's why you have the 'A' for Accelerated. It wasn't stressful cause you helped me so much and because you were explaining everything in detail I felt safe and confident. Every level of the AFF was wonderful and it all came into place on level 7 where I had to combine my knowledge! I did great thanks to you, I had an awesome time thanks to you and I seriously think that I couldn't have a better instructor! I wouldn't change you or this experience for the world!!! See you soon for my consols!!!"

“Hiya,
I just wanted to say a massive thank you for giving me the best experience of my life on 27th Aug.
I had arranged a tandem jump for Cancer Research Wales, along with 3 friends (who later dropped out... cheers girls) so came along to do the jump on my tod. Strange thing was, I was more nervous on Sunday than I was when I actually got there and went up in the plane. I was expecting a really odd atmosphere because of everyone's nerves but everyone was kicking back in the canteen and hanging around on the grass outside. So a huge thank you for making me feel completely safe and keeping me alive, ha ha.
Could you also please say a massive thank you to Will (who is an amazing skydiver and a very lovely bloke) and to Nick the cameraman who have the pleasure of seeing pure terror on my face as we fall out of the plane. I will definitely love to do another jump, and hopefully see you very soon.
Thanks again... it was amazing.

“Dear Carl.
I did a Charity Tandem Parachute jump on Sunday 12th August 2007. My chosen charity was the Noah's Ark Appeal, which is very close to our family as my 5 year old daughter Nia, was diagnosed with Leukaemia in June 2006. It was the first time I had ever jumped out of a plane and it was an absolutely fantastic experience.
I thought that I would become really nervous when we were in the plane. It took about 25 minutes to reach 10,000 ft. When the door opened & the 1st jumper went I was excited & ready to go. I Sat at the open door for a couple of seconds with my instructor Af & the next thing I knew we were falling through the air, reaching speeds of 120 mph. That was the most fantastic, breathtaking couple of seconds of my life. It took us about 30 seconds to freefall down to 5,000 ft then Af opened the parachute.
The views over Swansea & Gower on the day were unbelievable, and I was able to talk to Af easily as we did a few turns and slowed down before preparing to land. Landing is what a lot of people seem to worry about, but it was easy and fun! I had the fantastic feeling of wanting to go and do it all over again, the adrenaline was pumping around my body. I hugged Af for being a brilliant instructor who made it an experience that I will never forget. My first Tandem Parachute Jump! And I can say hand on heart it WILL NOT be my only jump! I am already wanting to do another.
So far I have raised over £1,300 for the Noah's Ark Appeal, The Children’s Hospital of Wales. With People still donating money. Most think I'm a nutter for throwing myself out of a perfectly good plane, But if they only knew the feeling you have when you freefall through the air and have the most beautiful view as a bonus to look at. If you ever do it, PLEASE do not close your eyes, it's over so quickly you will miss the best part.

“Dear Carl and Team
Thank you for a wonderful time at skydive Swansea.
It was a pleasure to jump at Swansea, the view from 10,000ft over the Gower was spectacular and the tandem jump was brilliant. The whole setup was run very professionally, we never once felt uneasy and all the staff were very helpful and approachable.
Even the pilot smiled - or was it a grin???
The bacon rolls and Chef were first class. How did you find a Jamaican Chef on the Gower?!
I am sure you and your team will make Skydive Swansea a great success and a delightful place for people to experience the fantastic thrill of skydiving in Wales.
Thank you once again in helping us achieve a dream and in helping us raise over £1,200.00 for cancer care. Blue Skies and Good Luck!
