How to Book
If you are planning to make a one-off Tandem jump then you have the option to Jump for Charity. This is a popular option with many people as you are then able to enjoy your chosen skydive at no cost to yourself providing you raise a minimum level of sponsorship. If this option appeals to you then check our Jump for Charity page for details. Otherwise, you will be responsible for paying for your own course fees when you make your booking.
If you would rather make a solo skydive or you would like to become a regular freefall parachutist then the Accelerated Freefall Course is the ideal route for you to follow. After eight satisfactorily completed AFF skydives you will be able to consolidate your experience and progress to advanced levels of sport parachuting.
You do not need to be an Olympic athlete to become a skydiver but there are limitations as regards to your weight - 15 stone for men and 13 stone for ladies.
Anyone aged 40 or over will be required to obtain their doctor’s signature deeming them fit to jump, on a form that is supplied. If you are aged below 40 and satisfy the requirements, you can sign the form yourself. There is an age limit of 50 for AFF. Anyone aged 16 or 17 will require the signature of a parent or legal guardian on the BPA Membership Agreement.
Anyone aged under 40 with a medical condition will also need their doctor’s signature. Please see the medical form in your information pack for relevant conditions or download a copy here - download the Solo Student Declaration or the Tandem Student Declaration.
For everybody’s safety, the above restrictions are strictly adhered to.
Anyone who has or has had a medical condition listed on the medical form requires a doctors signature.
