To take part in a parachute jump there are a few formalities to be completed. Everybody has to complete a medical form and some will require a doctor's signature especially if the person is aged 40 or over or has any medical conditions listed on the medical form. Anyone aged 16 or 17 will require the signature of a parent or legal guardian on both the medical and membership form. Some doctors may insist on a fee for a medical examination but Skydive Swansea Ltd will not be responsible for any costs that may be incurred.
Full guidance notes are provided to help you decide if you need a doctor's signature.

Jump for Charity
Raise money for Charity and Skydive!
Many people who jump with us are raising money for charity and many others ask us how to get started. We decided to gather as much information as we could to make it easy for you to make the necessary arrangements.
For many people the possibility of making a parachute jump at no personal cost is a great incentive, although you do have to pay your deposit of £40 to start with. Your costs are usually met once a certain minimum level of sponsorship has been collected and the remainder will be paid to your chosen charity. There are different procedures to be followed depending on the charity, although this usually amounts to to raising £310.00 although many people easily exceed this figure. For full details of how this works see our charity fund raising page.
In almost every case if you intend to support a charity/good cause that is not listed as charity partner you need to seek the permission of your chosen charity or organisation before you set out to raise money for them. Raising money for charity by making a parachute jump demonstrates commitment and therefore you shouldn't find it hard to raise sponsorship.
Please visit our charity fund raising page for full details of raising money for charity by making a parachute jump. We have a sponsorship form for you to download and put to work for your fund raising. We also have details of the Just Giving online fund raising web site which is ideal if you have potential sponsors who live some way away from you or even in different countries.
